Safari Experiences

Accommodation and Safari Experiences:

Tanzania, one of the major tourist and safari destinations in Africa, has whatever landscape you dreamed about be it the dry endless plains of the African savannah full of wildlife, lush green tropical rain forests with colorful birds and monkeys, paradise islands with powder white beaches and lively coral reefs and number of mountains which are exciting locations for hiking tours.

Accommodation in all three circuits (Northern, Southern and Western) will be in hotels, tented camps, public camping and intimate lodges – but if you want to be in the closest possible contact with nature and get to the very heart of the action, we specialize in setting up private tented camps in some of the best game viewing parts of the country.

Game Drive / Game Viewing – The most common way of experiencing the African wildlife. This is done through specialized vehicles, usually 4WD cars with photographic pop-up roof designed intentionally to confer you the perfect opportunity for game viewing, filming and photographing.

Boat Safaris / Sunset Cruises / Canoeing – Performed using comfortable boats or canoes, this is the most popular way of experiencing the aquatic life, mostly hippos and crocodiles as well as the birdlife. This is sometimes done for the reason of witnessing the amazing park sunsets and fishing. It is the most convenient way for bird-watchers.

KayakingKayaking is the use of a kayak for moving across water. It is distinguished from canoeing by the sitting position of the paddler and the number of blades on the paddle. A kayak is a low-to-the-water, canoe-like boat in which the paddler sits facing forward, legs in front, using a double-bladed paddle to pull front-to-back on one side and then the other in rotation.

Walking & Trekking – In some attractions, this is the most convenient and only way to unthirst your expectations and safari wishes, since game drives play no part (e.g. Kitulo, Gombe Stream, Mahale Mountains etc). In other attractions (e.g. Selous Game Reserve, Empakai Crater, Oldupai Gorge etc), this is usually conducted to visit some crucial parts of the parks or attractions and learn some hidden histories of different things, getting to know the various animals’ footprints, landscapes, visiting large plantations and sometimes conducted to see various small animals which you cannot see during game drives.

Hiking and Climbing – Vigorous walks, usually on special trails/footpaths, mostly conducted in the attractions that constitute mountains, landscapes, crater lakes or waterfalls (e.g. Mount Kilimanjaro, Udzungwa Mountains, Mount Meru, Ngozi Crater, Oldonyo Lengai etc)

Balloon Safari – Exclusively conducted in the famous Serengeti National Park, this distinctive experience grants you a chance to explore the rich wildlife of the enormous Serengeti from the above. The view is very exciting and different from the above, sometimes so high that you can see for a hundred miles in every direction, following the migration on your way.

Cultural Tours – Cultural tours are a popular product in Tanzania that is mostly sold as an add-on to enrich main safari tour programs. Most visitors to Africa, especially first timers, find the continent and its people enchantingly different and a special experience. Besides enriching itineraries and adding quality to the tours offered in Tanzania, the cultural tours are generating direct income to the local communities that are being visited, contributing to their development. Thus by visiting the cultural sites the guests would be giving support to community health, water supply, primary education and many other social and economic projects carried out at village level as well as reforestation and protection of environment.

Historical Tours – Experience the places, artifacts and activities that authentically represent the stories and people of the past”. Tanzania has numerous historical sites, some embracing histories of million years and centuries ago (e.g. Oldupai Gorge, Isimila Stone Age Site, Kilwa, Bagamoyo, Zanzibar etc), Tanzania also have various museums, some located in town centres and others developed in respective historical sites.

Golf Courses & Tennis Courts – To add more fun to your dream holiday, we have extended our services to golf and tennis sport lovers. Upon your need and proposition, we can add these experiences in to your itinerary. The tennis courts and golf courses are found in all our major cities of tourism (i.e. Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Morogoro & Zanzibar)

Horse Riding, Cycling & Quad Biking – Our packages also offer some healthy, energetic and sport activities during the tour such as jogging, horse riding, cycling and quad biking as well.

Islands & Beaches – Tanzania offers the beautiful beaches lying on its two major islands of Zanzibar and Mafia. These islands also posses the best coral reefs such as the one found in Chumbe Island in Zanzibar. Despite swimming along the beautiful clean beaches of the Indian Ocean, the two islands also offers a diversity of activities including diving, snorkeling, excursions, sunset boat cruises and many more.

Most tourists prefer to stretch out for few days in these beautiful islands and beaches after their safari experiences.
